The Voter Registration Deadline: February 8, 2016

  • At Registrar's Office - 5:00pm  *Check operating hours for DMV or other state designated voter registration agencies authorized to receive voter registration applications.
  • By mail - Postmarked by February 8
  • Online Registration via Virginia Department of Elections website - 11:59pm  *Applications that are required to be printed and delivered to the registrar should be treated as regular mailed in applications (postmarked by February 8, 2016). The February 8, 5:00pm deadline would apply if they are submitted in-person at the Registrar's Office. 

In Person Absentee Voting Starts: January 14

Last Day to Request an Absentee Ballot Application by Mail, Fax or E-mail: February 23

Last Day to Vote Absentee in Person: February 27

The Registrar's Office is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm and will additionally be open Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 9:00am - 5:00pm for in person absentee voting.
