Has Transit Advertising Caught Your Attention?

The primary purpose of advertising is to create awareness and knowledge.  Whether you’re selling a product or offering a service, people have to know about you before they consider using you.  If you’re looking into advertising for the first time or just want to reevaluate your advertising options, HDPT might just have what you're looking for!

About Us

Our transit fleet travels over half a million miles each year.  Depending on the time of year our vehicles run from 6:30 in the morning until 3 AM the following morning.  On an annual basis we carry over 1.3 million passengers ranging from local area residents to influential college students.  Our routes cover 17 square miles with a population outreach of 44,000.  The average rider is on the bus for 2.3 miles with a ride time of 11 minutes.  By utilizing some form of transit advertising you could really give a boost to your business.

The Options

HDPT offer two main forms of advertising: interior ads and exterior ads.  Exterior ads are the most familiar with non-transit users.  These ads can be placed on the driver’s side, passenger’s side, and/or rear end of a bus.  They are normally large in size and can be easily seen from a variety of angles.  Individuals who are targeted by these ads are usually pedestrians walking near and/or around the vehicle or individuals passing by in an automobile. These ads are most effective when they are flashy and have the ability draw attention to themselves.

Interior ads on the other hand are utilized more by transit users.  These ads hold longer exposure ratings due to the fact that most individuals can sit back and relax while they ride transit.  This gives them more time to read additional ad copy as well as be exposed to your brand name and logo.  Considering how many college students we transport while school is in session this may be a wise option for your business.

More Bang for Your Buck

Compared to other forms of advertising, transit advertising is cost effective.  According to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, transit advertising has the lowest cost per thousand rating.  Billboards, newspapers, magazine, radio, and television can’t compete with the payouts transit advertising has to offer.  If your business runs on a tight budget, you ought to consider HDPT advertising.
