Locating Underground Utilities
The City realizes that people need to plan for water and sewer services before they can build a new house or a business facility. The Water and Sewer Department wants to make it as easy as possible to obtain these connections.
The City is committed to providing needed water and sewer services to all areas of the City, but sometimes engineering problems do occur and some sites may not be easy to connect to the utilities.
A majority of the City is served by both water and sewer lines. If this condition is applicable to you, you will be provided water and sewer service as the City Code requires all new houses and businesses to be connected if available. Both water and sewer services must be taken simultaneously if or when available.
