Customer Appreciation Policy

In direct response to the opinion of many customers, we have changed our utility billing policy as follows:

 

A customer friendly grace period of 1-10 days has been made available for the purpose of assisting customers in their efforts to manage conditions which may delay our receipt of utility payments. The payment will remain due on the date as posted on the bill, however, the 10% penalty will not be applied against the balance until the date of the next billing. The result is that payments received between the due date and the next billing date will not incur a penalty.

 

A customer appreciation policy has been implemented to recognize promptness in utility payments. Our customers who have shown a payment history of twelve (12) consecutive months without a late or delinquent charge can now receive a waiver in the event that a penalty is incurred. This waiver is available upon request but is limited to one per 36 months of active service.

 

This response has been made in fulfilling our purpose, which is to bring the ideas of individuals into a program, which is good for the whole.
