The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) currently has five investigators assigned to general investigations.  The cases they are assigned have a wide range of investigative responsibility including sex crimes, property crimes, fraud cases, other felonious assaults and computer crimes.  Each investigator receives many hours of specialized training each year to help prepare them to handle these cases.  The investigators also work closely with other local, state and federal police agencies to further their investigations.  Ultimately, their cases are presented to the Commonwealth's Attorney for the administration of justice in the courts.
