Allow Parks and Recreation staff to assist you in completing a 50-Mile Challenge, helping you set and achieve your summertime fitness goals. The program is self-guided but staff is available for encouragement, to help you track your activity, offer weekly fitness activity ideas, and to notify you of upcoming challenge-related events. There is no charge to participate! Upon completing the 50-Mile Challenge, participants will receive a t-shirt and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win various prizes from Parks and Recreation and local businesses. How to Register?
Registration deadline is Sunday, July 15, 2018, about half-way through the set Challenge dates; you may register late but not after July 15, 2018. 50 Mile Fitness Challenge Kick Off Party - Thursday, June 14, 2018 | 7:00pm - 8:30pm | Cecil F. Gilkerson Community Activities Center
To Kick off the Challenge, we will host a kick off party where you may receive materials, guidance on constructing your fitness activity schedule and goals, and further explanation of our parks and park locations. We will even have goodies to give away to those who attend!
