Attention City of Harrisonburg Utility Customers: If you or someone in your household has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, that resulted in an economic hardship, utility assistance for your water bill is available now for your past due balance.

Please submit the COVID-19 Utility Relief Program application [6] [259KB]PDF by the December 31, 2021 deadline.

We know many of our customers have questions right now about COVID-19 and its impact on our community. So, we wanted to share this message with you from the Environmental Protection Agency: Americans can continue to use and drink water from their tap. The COVID-19 virus has not been detected in drinking-water supplies and based on current evidence, the risk to water supplies is low.

For more information, visit the EPA’s webpage about COVID-19 [7].
