Committee Description
The Ten Year Plan is a community planning tool which prescribes a concrete set of strategies designed to overcome the challenges to ending homelessness. The Steering Committee is responsible for administering general oversight of the plan, assuring that community input is included in the final plan, and adhering to best practices research from other communities across the nation. Phase One of the Ten Year Plan took place from March to December of 2010, and included the creation and engagement of work groups on Prevention, Housing Self Sufficiency, Serving Those Currently Homeless, and Data and Research.
