Join us at the City parks for creativity and art! We have options for all age groups.

 

Art in the Park - Youth

This program is designed for children ages 5 to 14. Adults must stay for the duration of the program but do not need to participate.

Each location will have different programming. 

No registration needed.

June 12 – Youth – 11-12 - Textile Art- Purcell Park Shelter 2

July 2 – Youth - 5-7pm - Creator Space - Ralph Sampson Park Shelter 1

July 8 – Youth - 5-7pm - Creator Space - Purcell Park Shelter 2

July 18 – Youth - 5-7pm - Creator Space - Hillandale Parks Shelter 12

July 19 – Youth – 11-12 – Chalk art - Dream Come True 

July 22 – Youth -5-7pm - Creator Space - Dream Come True

July 24 – Youth – 11-12 – Watercolor - Hillandale Shelter 12

August 7 – Youth – 11-12 – Weaving- Westover Shelter 4

 

Art in the Park - Adult (registration needed)

This program is designed for adults 14 and over.

Come join us at the City parks for creativity and art! This program is designed for adults 14 and over. Sessions will be lead by professional artist from Oasis Fine Arts & Crafts and Joyful Painters.

Registration needed.

  • June 26 | 1:00 - 4:00pm | Hillandale Shelter 12 - Water Color

The Joyful Painters will lead you through a water color lesson, eveyone will leave with their painting. 

  • July 17 | 1:00 - 4:00pm | Riven Rock Shelter 3 - Etching

Learn how to etch a design of your choice on an aluminum sheet and then apply paint to the design. 

  • July 31| 1:00 - 4:00pm |  Riven Rock Shelter 3 - Glass Mosaic

Join Barbara Camph as she leads you through creating a glass mosaic picture frame. Barbara will teach you how to choose your pieces, design your pattern, and complete your project. Barbara Camph has been a full-time stained glass artist for more than 20 years, running her own business in southern Portugal, Panama and now the U.S.
