HPD Traffic Unit

HPD's Traffic Unit is comprised of one Sergeant and three officers. The primary responsibility of the Traffic Unit is to promote highway safety through education, prevention, and the enforcement of traffic laws.

Special Operations Division

The Special Operations Division encompasses varying duties including traffic, criminal enforcement, public event safety and educational demonstrations are among the tasks completed on a daily basis.

Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of a lieutenant, detective sergeant, 9 detectives, a forensic evidence technician, a digital forensic examiner and an administrative assistant.

Patrol Division

Patrol Operations are the backbone of the Police Department. Officers respond on a daily basis to calls for service from the public and handle varying situations that require quick thinking, professionalism and problem solving skills.

Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Update - Ordinance Advisory Committee (OAC)

The Ordinance Advisory Committee will meet with city staff and the consultant team six times during the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance Update to represent the broader community, review draft ordinances, serve as a sounding board for new ideas and solutions, and to provide constructive input.

Ralph Sampson Park has two picnic shelters, restroom facilities, three basketball courts, playground equipment, a sports field, and our Futsal complex.
