The City Attorney provides all legal services to the City Council and all city departments with the exception of the Harrisonburg City School Board.

Biography

• Born in Ashland, Kentucky

• Has lived in Harrisonburg and Staunton

• Previously served as the attorney for Rockingham County and Senior Assistant County Attorney in Albemarle County

Education

• Attended Luray High School

• Bridgewater College for undergraduate studies

• Earned a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law
