Public Works

The mission of the Public Works Department is to enhance the quality of life of our citizens by providing efficient public services, protecting the public interest with good environmental policies, enforcing codes, and constructing, operating and maintaining the City's infrastructure.

With more than 100 employees, the Public Works Department provides the following services, including but not limited to, trash collection, recycling, maintenance of city streets, maintenance of traffic signals and street signs, transportation planning, and construction of new transportation facilities.
