City Parks

There are 11 main parks in Harrisonburg City along with several other properties that are maintained by the Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation.  These parks offer several natural surface trails, athletic fields, picnic shelters, playgrounds, basketball courts, and many other amenities. 

Parks Hours:

Summer (April 15 - October 31)

All parks within city limits: 8:00am - 9:00pm
Riven Rock Park (May 15 – October 31) - 8:00am - 8:00pm

Winter (November 1 – April 13)

City Parks 8:00am - 5:00pm
Riven Rock Park Closed - November 1 - May 14
