2023 City Holidays and Trash Collection Schedule
The city holiday trash collection schedule is available online. Save or print the web page for reference of holiday trash collection changes in Harrisonburg for 2023.
Roadway Reconfigurations in Harrisonburg
The City is considering several roadway reconfiguration projects. Roadway reconfiguration efforts seek to improve safety and operations on roads through modifying the use of the existing pavement to change the number and alignment of lanes.
Draft Capital Improvement Program Posted Online
The draft Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 through Fiscal Year 2027-2028 is available online. The CIP is a multi-year production and scheduling of capital projects of $50,000 or greater with an appropriate financing plan to fund these projects.
Volunteer at City Hall!
The City is seeking volunteers for the information desk on the first floor of the new City Hall! This is a great opportunity to learn about the local government and help others!
