The City Council is the elected governing body of the City of Harrisonburg and is made up of five members elected at-large.
The City Council meets at 7:00pm every second and fourth Tuesday of the month in Council Chambers (409 South Main Street). Meetings are open to the public.

*The Harrisonburg City Council shifted the meetings for the month of November in order to avoid potential conflicts with the election.
*The December 27, 2016 City Council meeting has been cancelled. The reorganization meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:00am.
