The Harrisonburg Fire Department offers free car seat checks and installation assistance with nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call or text 540-810-0527 for assistance or to request an appointment. Technicians are scheduled in advance to give you their full attention and cannot accommodate same-day or drive-up service without an appointment.
