Parks and Recreation

Located off Old Furnace Road and Smithland Road, the athletic complex sits on 130 acres and has four full size athletic fields, natural surface trail (0.75 miles), and multiple restrooms.

Located on Ramblewood Road off of Stone Spring Road, Ramblewood sits on 60 acres and has one baseball/softball field, one soccer/multi-use field, and a maintenance building.

Volleyball programs offered by the Harrisonburg Department of Parks and Recreation.

The Youth Football Program runs from July to October and includes programs for grades K-7.

Start Smart was developed by top motor skill development specialists in the field of youth sports. Parent-child groups perform motor skill tasks that gradually build confidence in children while they are having fun at the same time.

Basketball programs offered by the Harrisonburg Department of Parks and Recreation are open to City Residents, ages 3-12.

Youth soccer programs offered by the Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation for ages 3-13.

Recreation and social opportunities for those 50 years of age and older.
