A Public Meeting will be hosted by the City on June 6 in City Council Chambers (409 South Main St) from 5:30pm-7:30pm. This is an opportunity for members of the community to view the updated draft of the Downtown Streetscape Plan and discuss the plan one-on-one with city staff.
Preparations have begun to replace a sewer line along South Dogwood Drive. Work will start on or near May 29 (weather permitting) and will go for two weeks.
Public Utilities will be testing portions of the sanitary sewer system on the east side of Interstate 81, from Port Republic Road to Ramblewood Road and east to the City limits. This testing will run from May 20 through June 28.
