Welcome to the Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation Esports program. 

This program has been created in an effort to provide an opportunity to our community to connect and compete in online gaming from the comfort of their own home. 

Studies have shown that in addition to a form of entertainment, online gaming is a means to encourage concentration and cognitive effort, initiative, adaptability, positive well-being, learning new skills, prosocial behavior, and improving problem solving.

Tournaments will expand to various sports related games, systems, and formats over time.

Registration will open May 4 and be available for our first two tournaments, simply follow the above links. Participants will need to create their own profile, and search Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation for our tournaments.  Registration for our first round of tournaments will close on May 14, however play begins on May 16.
